(Chicago, IL) -- The Minnesota Twins are on a nine-game winning streak (Longest since 2008) after taking down the Chicago White Sox 6-5 at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The Twins trailed by a run in the eighth before Carlos Correa and Trevor Larnach both ripped RBI singles to put Minnesota on top. Andrew Benintendi tied the game with a homer in the bottom of the frame, but Max Kepler hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the ninth to give the Twins the lead for good. Caleb Thielbar earned his first win in relief, while Jhoan Duran picked up his first save. Minnesota is in fourth place in the AL Central at 16-13.
Bailey Ober starts for Minnesota against the Southsiders on Wednesday afternoon.
