NDSU Women’s Basketball selected to WNIT

North Dakota State Women’s basketball have earned a berth in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).

This is the second consecutive year they’ve played in the tournament that is made up of a field of 48 teams. The WNIT is a six round tournament with 16 teams earning a first round bye. Additionally, the tournament began annually in 1998 and is celebrating its 25th season.

NDSU is 1 of 3 Summit League teams in the tournament, joined by South Dakota and Oral Roberts. The 21-11 Bison will have a first round bye, before playing the winner of Boise State vs Montana.

Round 1 - March 20-22, 2024

Round 2 - March 23-26, 2024

Round 3 - March 27-29, 2024

Quarterfinals - March 30-April 1, 2024

Semifinals - April 2-3, 2024

Championship – April 6, 2024 (CBS Sports Network)
