North Dakota tornado sirens to sound today for Severe Weather Awareness Week

(WDAY Radio) -- Today, as part of North Dakota Severe Weather Awareness Week, tornado sirens will sound across cities statewide in a tornado drill.

State officials encourage residents to participate in the drill to practice tornado safety plans. Individual sirens will also be briefly activated for routine maintenance from April 25th to May 1st.
